Australian King Parrot

One of Australia’s most colourful parrots, the Australian King-Parrot is easy to recognise by its brilliant red head and chest (males) and green head and chest (females) with rich green wings.

You’ll often spot them quietly feeding in a tree or confidently visiting gardens and picnic areas for a snack.
