Care Instructions

Bottle care

Your birding bottle is made for everyday adventures - from bush tracks to playground stops to long birding days. A little care will keep your design looking sharp and your bottle in top shape.

For best results:

  • Hand wash with warm water and mild soap.
  • Avoid harsh scrubbing to keep your birds looking fresh.
  • Let your bottle air dry completely before storing.

Bottle sticker care

Your bottle comes with premium waterproof vinyl stickers designed to last through everyday birding adventures.

For best results:

  • Clean and dry the bottle before applying each sticker.
  • Press firmly over the entire sticker, especially around the edges.
  • Allow the adhesive to cure for at least 48 hours before washing or getting the bottle wet
  • Only hand-wash your bottle to maximise the life of your stickers.
  • Avoid soaking the bottle for long periods or scrubbing the stickers with abrasive materials.

Cap care

Our hats are made from soft cotton corduroy and built to handle a fair bit of life out in the wild. Treat them right, and they’ll be your trusty noggin’ toppers for years of birding, beach walks, and coffee runs.

  • If your hat’s been out in the elements (sun, sweat, salt, or sand), give it a quick rinse with fresh cold water. It keeps the fabric soft and stops the clasp from corroding.
  • Spot looking grubby? (Sweat marks, mud splashes, bird poop mishaps… it happens.) A gentle hand wash with mild soap in cold water will bring it back to life. Go easy - no heavy scrubbing.
  • Never chuck your bird hat in the dryer, unless you want a cap fit for a fairywren. Always air dry in the shade to keep the shape and colour crisp.
  • In warm or humid spots, hang your lid up or stash it in a cool, dry place. Leaving it in direct sun (like on your car dash) will fade those feathers real fast
