Budgerigar

The Budgerigar is one of Australia’s most iconic parrots. These small, colourful birds travel in lively flocks and are famous for their cheerful chatter and fast, undulating flight.

After good rainfall, huge flocks can gather across Australia’s inland, creating one of the country’s most spectacular birding sights.
