Eclectus Parrot

The Eclectus Parrot is one of Australia’s most colourful birds and is famous because the males and females look completely different. Males are bright green, while females are a striking combination of deep red and purple.

In Australia, they’re found only in the tropical rainforests of far north Queensland.
