BIRD #16 OF 45
Pink Robin
The Pink Robin is one of Australia’s most charming little songbirds. Males are famous for their vivid pink breast, while females are soft brown with a pale pink wash, making them much harder to spot.

Unlike many colourful Australian birds, only the male Pink Robin has its striking pink breast. The female’s more subdued colouring helps her stay camouflaged while nesting.
