White-Bellied Sea Eagle

One of Australia’s largest birds of prey, the White-bellied Sea Eagle is a magnificent coastal hunter, often seen soaring high above beaches, estuaries and rivers.

You’ll usually spot one gliding effortlessly overhead or perched in a tall tree overlooking the water.

    White-bellied Sea Eagles often mate for life and may use the same enormous nest for decades, adding new sticks each breeding season until it can measure over two metres across.
